The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has confirmed that the Indian government is engaging with US authorities following concerns surrounding revised American visa norms that have created uncertainty for several Indian applicants.

Addressing media queries, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said India is closely monitoring the implementation of the updated visa rules and remains in touch with the US administration to understand their impact on Indian nationals.

The development comes after changes in visa procedures reportedly led to delays, additional documentation requirements and uncertainty for applicants seeking to travel to the United States for education, employment and tourism.
