NEET Aspirant Found Dead in UP’s Maharajganj a Day After Reappearing for Exam; Note Says ‘Not Capable of Anything’

Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh: A NEET aspirant was found dead at his residence in Uttar Pradesh's Maharajganj district, sending shockwaves through the local community and once again drawing attention to the pressures faced by students preparing for competitive examinations.

According to police officials, the 19-year-old student had appeared for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) once again this year and was found dead a day after taking the examination.

A handwritten note was reportedly recovered from the scene. In the note, the student allegedly expressed feelings of inadequacy, writing that he was "not capable of anything" and apologizing to family members. Authorities have not released the full contents of the note.

Family members told investigators that the student had been preparing for medical entrance examinations for several years and had reappeared for NEET in the hope of improving his score and securing admission to a medical college.

Police said they were informed about the incident by family members and reached the spot shortly thereafter. The body was sent for post-mortem examination, and a case has been registered as part of standard procedure.
