Actor Archana Puran Singh recently revealed that former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu, 62, told her about losing 38 kg. The revelation came during an episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, where Archana discussed Sidhu’s transformation with host and comedian Kapil Sharma.
Archana clarified the extent of Sidhu’s reported weight loss, saying, “Not 30, 38 kgs, he is telling me. He lost 38 kgs.”
Kapil Sharma responded with a humorous comparison, saying that 38 kg was roughly the weight of a school student. He added that he weighed 35 kg when he was in Class 8.
Sidhu did not provide specific details about how he achieved the reported weight loss. Instead, he spoke about the importance of discipline and how it can become visible through a person’s actions and lifestyle.
“Discipline should be a part of life. When you bring discipline into your life, you don’t need to say anything. It speaks for itself,” Sidhu said.
The discussion comes amid Sidhu’s public posts about changes in his physique. He has previously shared that clothes he wore while playing for India during the 1990s now fit him again.
The former cricketer’s comments and Archana’s revelation have drawn attention to his significant physical transformation. However, the episode did not provide detailed information about the specific diet, exercise routine or other methods behind his reported 38-kg weight loss.
