Delhi Court Cancels Non-Bailable Warrants Against Student Leader Aishe Ghosh

New Delhi: A Delhi court on Wednesday cancelled the non-bailable warrants (NBWs) issued against student leader Aishe Ghosh, providing relief after she appeared before the court in connection with an ongoing criminal case.

The warrants had been issued earlier following her alleged failure to appear before the court during previous hearings. Upon her appearance, the court accepted her request for relief and revoked the warrants, allowing the case to proceed in accordance with the law.

During the hearing, Ghosh's legal counsel submitted that she was prepared to cooperate fully with the judicial process and requested that the non-bailable warrants be recalled. After considering the submissions, the court cancelled the warrants while directing her to remain present as and when required during future proceedings.

The case against Ghosh relates to events that have been under judicial consideration for some time. The court's latest order does not determine the merits of the allegations but is limited to the issue of her appearance before the court.
