₹3.5-Crore Ferrari Crashes Into Apartment Gate in Hyderabad, Police Launch Investigation

A high-end Ferrari sports car, estimated to be worth around ₹3.5 crore, crashed into the entrance gate of a residential apartment complex in Hyderabad, prompting a police investigation into the incident.

The accident caused damage to the apartment's main gate and surrounding property. Fortunately, no casualties or serious injuries were reported.

Luxury Car Rams Into Apartment Gate

According to police, the Ferrari lost control before crashing into the apartment's entrance gate.

The impact damaged the gate and created panic among residents, many of whom rushed outside after hearing the loud collision.

Photographs and videos of the damaged luxury car quickly surfaced on social media, drawing widespread attention.

No Injuries Reported

Officials confirmed that no residents, pedestrians or occupants of the vehicle sustained major injuries in the crash.

The vehicle, however, suffered visible front-end damage due to the impact.

Authorities ensured the damaged car was removed from the spot to restore normal movement in the area.

Police Begin Investigation

Hyderabad Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.

Investigators are examining several factors, including:

  • Whether the vehicle was being driven at excessive speed.

  • The condition of the driver at the time of the crash.

  • Possible mechanical failure.

  • CCTV footage from the apartment complex and nearby roads.

Officials said statements from witnesses and the driver would also form part of the investigation.

Residents Shocked

Residents of the apartment complex expressed relief that the incident did not result in injuries.

Several eyewitnesses said the crash could have had serious consequences had pedestrians been near the entrance at the time.

The accident has renewed concerns about speeding by high-performance vehicles on city roads.

High-Performance Cars Demand Extra Caution

Luxury sports cars such as Ferraris are capable of achieving extremely high speeds within seconds.

Automobile experts note that these vehicles require careful handling and responsible driving, particularly in urban environments where traffic density and pedestrian movement are high.

Authorities have repeatedly urged motorists to adhere to speed limits and exercise caution irrespective of the vehicle being driven.

Looking Ahead

Police are expected to complete their investigation after analysing evidence and recording statements from those involved.

If any traffic violations or negligence are established, appropriate legal action will be taken under the Motor Vehicles Act and other applicable laws.

The incident serves as another reminder that responsible driving remains essential, regardless of the value or performance of the vehicle.
