Trust to Decide CEO's Authority
Nripendra Mishra, Chairman of the Ram Temple Construction Committee, stated that decisions regarding the authority and responsibilities of the Trust's Chief Executive Officer will be taken internally by the Ram Temple Trust.
He stressed that the matter falls within the trust's governance framework.
'No Government Interference'
Mishra clarified that the government has no role in determining the CEO's powers.
According to him:
The Trust is responsible for its internal administration.
Decisions regarding the CEO will be made by the Trust's governing body.
The government will not interfere in these administrative matters.
Governance of the Trust
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is responsible for overseeing the administration, management, and development of the Ram Temple complex.
Its governing body takes decisions related to appointments, administration, and operational matters in accordance with its rules and applicable laws.
Remarks Amid Public Attention
Mishra's comments come amid increased public attention on the functioning of the Trust following recent controversies related to temple administration and financial matters.
He maintained that the Trust's institutional processes are capable of addressing administrative issues independently.
Administrative Independence
The statement underscores the Trust's position that its internal governance decisions should remain autonomous and free from external influence.
Questions regarding the CEO's role and authority will therefore be resolved by the Trust through its own decision-making mechanisms.
Looking Ahead
The Trust is expected to deliberate on the CEO's responsibilities and announce any administrative decisions through its established procedures.
Any future changes to the governance structure will be implemented by the Trust in accordance with its governing framework.
