TVS Capital Funds' C K Prahalad Foundation Honours S4S Technologies for Innovation and Social Impact

New Delhi: S4S Technologies, an agritech and food processing startup, has been honoured by the C K Prahalad Foundation, an initiative supported by TVS Capital Funds, for its contribution to innovation, sustainability and social impact.

The recognition celebrates S4S Technologies' efforts in developing technology-driven solutions that help reduce food wastage, improve value addition in agriculture and create livelihood opportunities, particularly for rural women entrepreneurs.

Founded with the objective of transforming agricultural produce into high-value food products using sustainable processing technologies, S4S Technologies has built a business model focused on decentralised food processing. The company works closely with farmers and women-led enterprises to enhance income opportunities while promoting environmentally responsible practices.

The C K Prahalad Foundation honours organisations and entrepreneurs whose work reflects the vision of the late management thinker Professor C. K. Prahalad, who advocated inclusive growth, innovation and business models that serve underserved communities.

Speaking on the recognition, representatives from the foundation highlighted the importance of supporting enterprises that combine commercial success with measurable social impact. They noted that startups like S4S Technologies demonstrate how innovation can address challenges in agriculture, food security and rural development.

The award also underscores the growing role of impact-driven startups in India's innovation ecosystem. Increasingly, investors and institutions are recognising businesses that deliver both financial sustainability and positive societal outcomes.

S4S Technologies has received appreciation in recent years for its focus on reducing post-harvest losses, improving supply chain efficiency and enabling access to markets through technology-enabled solutions.

The recognition from the C K Prahalad Foundation adds to the startup's achievements and reinforces the importance of sustainable innovation in strengthening India's agriculture and food processing sectors.
