Celebrated Indian costume designer Eka Lakhani has described her invitation to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) as one of the most significant moments of her professional journey, calling it "an honour to join a community of artists I've admired."

In an exclusive conversation, Lakhani reflected on the recognition, saying the invitation is not only a personal achievement but also a testament to the growing global appreciation for Indian creative talent.
