Manoj Muntashir calls Adipurush ‘biggest mistake of my life’, seeks forgiveness: ‘Ashamed of the dialogues I wrote’

More than three years after Adipurush sparked nationwide controversy, lyricist and screenwriter Manoj Muntashir has publicly apologised for the film, calling it the "biggest mistake" of his life.

Speaking candidly about the backlash, Muntashir admitted he was deeply embarrassed by the dialogues he had written for the mythological epic and sought forgiveness from audiences.

Reflecting on the film's reception, Muntashir said the experience had become one of the most painful chapters of his career.

"Adipurush is the biggest mistake of my life."
