Prashant Kishor Promises 10,000 Private Sector Jobs for Bankipur Youth Within Two Years

Patna: Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor on Monday promised to create 10,000 private sector jobs for the youth of Bankipur within two years, outlining employment generation as one of the key pillars of his party's development agenda ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections.

Addressing a public gathering in Bankipur, Kishor said the state's young population deserves better employment opportunities and should not be forced to migrate to other states in search of work. He asserted that his government, if elected, would work towards attracting private investment and encouraging industries to generate large-scale employment.

Kishor said the proposed jobs would come from private enterprises through policies aimed at improving the business environment, supporting entrepreneurs and facilitating new industrial investments in the region.

The Jan Suraaj leader criticised successive governments for failing to provide adequate employment opportunities despite repeated promises. He claimed that Bihar's development depends on creating sustainable jobs within the state rather than relying on migration for livelihoods.

He also stressed the need to strengthen infrastructure, improve skill development programmes and promote investment in sectors capable of generating employment for educated and skilled youth.

The promise comes as political parties intensify their campaigns ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, with employment, education and economic development emerging as major issues for voters.
