T.O.P and Nana Dating: Former BIGBANG Star and The Scandal Actor Confirm Romance After Low-Key Dates

Seoul, October 2, 2026: Former BIGBANG member T.O.P and actress-singer Nana have officially confirmed their relationship after reports of the two spending time together away from the spotlight.

T.O.P, whose real name is Choi Seung-hyun, and Nana, whose real name is Im Jin-ah, first met while working on the music video for T.O.P’s song “Studio54.” According to statements from their agencies, the professional connection gradually developed into a romantic relationship around June.

T.O.P and Nana confirm they are dating

T.O.P's agency, Top Spot Pictures, confirmed that the two initially became acquainted during the music video shoot and later grew closer.

“They later grew closer and developed a romantic relationship around June,” the agency said in a statement, according to Yonhap. Nana's agency, Sublime, separately acknowledged the relationship.

The confirmation came after South Korean entertainment reports said the pair had been quietly meeting in recent months. Dispatch reportedly published photographs of T.O.P and Nana spending time together near Nana's residence, including casual outings.

Their romance began with a music video

The two first worked together on T.O.P's “Studio54” music video, with Nana appearing as the female lead.

T.O.P had personally selected Nana for the project. In material shared earlier this year, he explained that he wanted a woman with a mysterious, timeless quality for the visual concept and felt Nana was particularly suited to the role.

The pair also appeared together in promotional content related to the song. Their professional collaboration eventually continued beyond the music video, with reports saying they stayed in contact and began dating around June.

T.O.P and Nana's low-key relationship

The romance reportedly remained private for several months. Recent sightings of the two together prompted the dating reports before their agencies confirmed the relationship.

According to reports, they were seen spending time around Achiul Village in Guri, where Nana resides. Their reported outings included relatively ordinary activities such as taking taxis and visiting convenience stores, rather than highly publicised celebrity dates.

From K-pop idols to acting careers

T.O.P debuted with BIGBANG in 2006 and subsequently built careers in both music and acting. After a period away from entertainment, he returned to the screen in Netflix's Squid Game 2 and resumed his music career with his first full-length solo album this year.

Nana debuted with girl group After School in 2009 before expanding into acting. Her credits include The Good Wife and Mask Girl, while her recent work includes Netflix's The Scandal.

The confirmation makes T.O.P and Nana one of the latest celebrity couples to emerge from South Korea's entertainment industry, with their relationship having developed from an on-set professional collaboration into a romance several months later.
